Additionally, dogs serve as therapists. Animal-assisted therapy, including canine therapy, is increasingly used to treat people struggling with trauma, depression, anxiety, and other health issues. Dogs can forge a unique bond with humans that cannot be replaced by any other therapeutic tool.

Dogs come in hundreds of different breeds, each with its own unique physical characteristics, temperaments, and needs. From small, energetic terriers to majestic German Shepherds, each dog breed has something special that makes it the perfect companion for different people and situations.
